Welcome to an evening of sublime entertainment and unique cuisine!
Our special guest this month is Sarah Shiels. Known as an authentic musician with rich blues vocals, over the past 4 years Sarah has been making a name for herself. She has gigged extensively across the UK and Internationally, initially playing locally around Yorkshire with her first band ‘The Velvet Dolls’, before going on to play around England with ‘Jackson D’ and ‘Rivers Johansson and The Deemed Unrighteous’, as well as the likes of Seattle, Spain and Germany with ex blues-punk band ‘Ming City Rockers’. She currently plays with garage rock and roll band ‘The Black Delta Movement’. Sarah also performs solo, combining folk and blues alongside her poetry. She has supported ‘Rod Clements’ (Lindisfarne), ‘Tom Hingley’ (Inspiral Carpets), ‘Wreckless Eric’, ‘Ted Key’ (The Housemartins), ‘SUSTO’, ‘Greg Russell’ and ‘Anthony D’Amato’ to name a few.
Our August Feast Night menu is a Chilli Devil original, combining classic English cuisine with a distinctly Mexican twist...
We will begin with the Chilli Devil's own recipe (and ever-popular) salmon ceviche with orange and smoked chilli, served on a bed of fresh salad leaves with salsa and guacamole - all made from scratch in the Devil's kitchen...
Our main course will be pork stuffed with orange and pistachios, served with chilli bubble & squeak and bacon wrapped asparagus, with an orange and tequila sauce.
The Anglo-Mexican fusion theme continues into the dessert, with an orange tequila trifle - you ain't gonna buy that in Tesco!
As usual we'll be getting the tablecloths out and going all posh with proper table service and stuff, just to make you feel extra special!
There will be live acoustic entertainment too - watch this space for an update when we have confirmed the booking!
Devil's Advocate card holders can get a £2 per head discount on tickets purchased in the bar (not here unfortunately - the tech says waaahh)
Tickets purchased online will be confirmed via email and can be collected from the bar on or before the night.
